Musical Theatre (Class is split into KS2 Primary, Secondary pupils + and KS1 Primary) Children develop new and existing theatre skills by exploring different styles, genres and performance while working towards two full-scale productions each year. We work on children’s Acting, Dancing and Singing throughout. Children are asked to enrol for show we do. Previous performances include Pantomimes, Matilda The Musical, We will Rock You, Madagascar the Musical Jr and the Jungle Book.
Junior Drama (Reception to Year Three) Classes are designed to encourage children’s self-expression, teamwork, speaking & listening and confidence. With an emphasis on fun, children learn through theatre games, movement and storytelling, giving everyone a chance to take part creatively. We perform at least one showcase per term for parents and an annual show.
Intermediate Drama (Year Four to Year Six) This class focus on developing performance skills. Participants learn the basics of acting, the use of voice and movement, progressing onto scripted and devised work. Twice yearly the children participate in Drama exams through the UKA. We perform at least one showcase per term for parents and an annual show.
Senior Drama (Secondary age) This class focus on developing performance skills. Participants develop their acting skills, the use of voice and movement, progressing onto scripted and devised work. Twice yearly the children participate in Drama exams through the UKA. We perform at least one showcase per term for parents and an annual show
